Caroline Sohie is an Architect, Curator, and Educator. Caroline's approach to architecture transcends traditional boundaries, fuelled by her belief in the power of interdisciplinary collaboration.

Before founding Instinct, Caroline led a diverse global design portfolio at Ove Arup & Partners in London. From rail and urban mobility to aviation, sports, commercial, culture, education, and urban planning, she brought transformative visions to life.

From architecture to large-scale regeneration, her projects promote public infrastructure as a cornerstone of holistic sustainability.

Caroline established interdisciplinary fast-track design and delivery teams around the world. Her distinctive talent for forming and leading integrated design teams, enables her to foster a culture of innovation and motivation ensuring consistent and exceptional performance.

Caroline is a frequent keynote speaker at international conferences and a dedicated educator, serving as a visiting professor and guest critic at esteemed institutions like KULeuven, the Berlage, TU Delft, the Architectural Association London, and the University of Cape Town.

She is an RIBA chartered architect in the UK, registered in Belgium - Orde van Architecten, and in South Africa – The South African Council for the Architectural Profession.

Leszek Dobrovolsky is an expert in complex infrastructure and architectural projects, specialising in mixed-use transit-oriented developments and inter-modal transport interchanges.

Before co-founding Instinct, he was a Partner at Ove Arup & Partners in London, responsible for the infrastructure, transport and architecture division. His notable work includes the concept design for the new International Station at St. Pancras in London and leading interdisciplinary design teams for the Channel Tunnel Rail Link Stations at Stratford International and Ebbsfleet International, including masterplan and regeneration strategies.

His core expertise is creating catalytic regenerative impact, by maximising the synergies between the spatial strategy , movement networks and the socio-economic business case. Three decades of experience have been honed through the leadership of over 100 projects in 20 countries. The range and depth of projects cover the full breadth, from feasibility through to implementation.

Leszek is a trusted advisor for transit-oriented developments worldwide, especially in evolving city economies. He is also an international lecturer and a sought-after keynote speaker at conferences.
